A new operation has been conducted within the framework of the drug investigation against famous figures in Turkey. Four people, including social media phenom and YouTuber Bilal Hancı, were detained during the operation.
According to Milli.Az, the investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Smuggling, Narcotics and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau conducted an operation early this morning in Istanbul. The following individuals were detained as a result of the operation:

Mehmet Üstündağ (Entertainment writer)
Abdullah Gençal
İbrahim Barut
It was determined that the other three suspects who have arrest warrants are abroad. The detained individuals were sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute for tests related to drug use.
The drug investigation against celebrities has been on Turkey’s agenda since October of last year. Within the framework of the investigation, numerous musicians, managers, businessmen, and well-known public figures have been questioned, and their blood and hair samples have been taken for examination.
Previously, many people have been arrested by the court in this case. Among those arrested are well-known names such as Ceyda Ersoy, Gizem Özköroğlu, and Burak Altındağ. Search warrants have been issued for model Şevval Şahin, Mert Vidinli, and Kasım Garipoğlu.
In the previous wave of operations, 23 people, including former footballer and sports commentator Ümit Karan, were detained. Of the suspects sent to court, 13 people, including Ümit Karan, were taken into custody, while 9 were released under judicial control.
