Due to the snowy and frosty weather conditions observed in the country, all carriers engaged in passenger transportation are operating in an enhanced work mode.
Medianews.az reports that this information was released by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
It has been stated that the movement of buses on the roads is being monitored by AYNA's Monitoring Center. Currently, transportation is being carried out on all routes according to passenger demand. Buses corresponding to the daily number have been deployed on the routes.
Since some roads are icy in certain directions, the speed limit for vehicles is low. For this reason, an increase in intervals between buses may be observed.
It has been noted that work is being carried out together with the relevant authorities to ensure the comfortable and safe operation of public transport.
