LIST OF CITIZENS IN AZERBAIJAN FULFILLING SEPAH'S ORDERS - NAMES

As a result of comprehensive counterintelligence measures, the State Security Service prevented terrorist sabotage actions planned to be carried out in Azerbaijan by SEPAH, the special service agency of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the collection of intelligence-type information.

Tarxan Tərlan oglu Guliyev, Nicat Zaman oglu Agayev, Əsəd Tofiq oglu Abdullayev, Rashad Fərhad oglu Rüstəmov, Khadija Zakir qizi Agayeva, Elvin Bahruz oglu Ahmadov, Nərminə Ramiz qizi Shabanova, and Naib Ismixan oglu Ismiyev confessed their committed acts and that they took an explosive device under the instructions of persons linked to SEPAH and carried out assignments related to assassination plans.

During the specified period, it was revealed that the person who directly organized terrorist acts against our country was Colonel Ali Asghar Bordbar Sheramin, an officer of SEPAH’s Intelligence Organization.

International search has been declared for the Iranian citizens Zandkian Yaser Rahim, Rustamzada Behnam Sahibali, Azarundbileh Hosein Savar Saber, Sheikhzadeh Sajjad Moghadam Sati Sofi Evad, who were identified as participating in collecting intelligence-type information and organizing terrorist sabotage acts to destabilize the territory of the country and create panic among the population.

Decisions have also been made regarding Azerbaijani citizens found guilty of criminal acts during the conducted operational-investigative measures. Thus, Tarxan Tərlan oglu Guliyev, Nicat Zaman oglu Agayev, Əsəd Tofiq oglu Abdullayev, and Rashad Fərhad oglu Rüstəmov were convicted of the relevant articles of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 6 years and 6 months of imprisonment.

Nərminə Ramiz qizi Shabanova and Naib Ağaismi oglu Ismiyev were charged under Articles 28 and 277 (preparation for assassination of a state or public figure) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Elvin Bahruz oglu Ahmadov was criminally responsible under Article 228.2.1 (illegal acquisition, transfer to others, possession, carrying, and transportation of weapons, their components, ammunition, explosive substances, and devices by a group of persons acting in concert in advance) of the Criminal Code. Detention as a preventive measure was chosen by the court in regard to them.
