The implementation of the amnesty act will begin on December 22.
Let us recall that on December 19, the National Assembly adopted a decision "On the declaration of amnesty on the occasion of the 'Year of Constitution and Sovereignty'.
The Parliament made this decision on the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, to declare amnesty.
The implementation of the amnesty act will begin on December 22. On that day, a group of convicts subject to amnesty will be released.
