According to the report of the State Statistics Committee, as of April 1, 2026, 5 million 108.4 thousand people of the economically active population in Azerbaijan were officially registered as employed.
The number of wage earners as of March 1 was reported to be 1 million 784 thousand people, with 30.4 thousand of them announced to be working in the oil and gas sector.
Medianews.az reports that as of April 1, the State Employment Agency recorded 246.9 thousand people as unemployed.
