On September 18, the body of Elxan Karim oglu Mammadov, born in 1961, was found in the village of Ayyublu in the Tovuz district.
This was reported by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the information, investigations conducted by police officers revealed that he was beaten and intentionally killed by Qasimov Yashar Musa oglu, born in 1975, a resident of the village and previously convicted.
The suspect Y. Qasimov was detained and handed over to the investigation.
Investigations regarding the case are ongoing.
