“The severe traffic accident in Göygöl, which resulted in the death of an 11th-grade student, shocked us all. May God have mercy on him.”

Education expert Kamran Əsədov gave a statement to Medianews.az regarding the severe traffic accident in Göygöl district that led to the death of an 11th-grade student.
He said that this incident shocked all of us: "Look, every day in schools, the teachers you criticize work with those very children you see off from your home — youths full of adrenaline, adventure, and the feeling of ‘being interesting’. They are alone responsible for both the education and upbringing of 30-35 children.
A parent who cannot manage two children at home threatens and showers with criticism a teacher who raises their voice a little while managing 35 children at school. We demand from the teacher to be both an educator, psychologist, and parent, yet we provide no support to them.
Recent incidents such as stabbings, unethical video recordings, traffic accidents — all stem from the upbringing environment of those same homes, those families. Children carry the negativity they bring from home to school, and each time we say ‘the teacher is guilty’ to shift the responsibility away from ourselves.
In such incidents, the guilty party is not the teacher but the family, the parent. We have neglected the children to this extent.
Before criticizing the school and the teacher, take a moment to look in the mirror — where should the child’s upbringing, behavior, and values have been formed? At home.”
