According to Milli.Az, at the press conference held after the match, the head coach of the Shamakhi representative Ayxan Abbasov said that he would not answer questions about the national team:
"I will not talk about the national team. Rival head coaches object because the press conference lasts too long. God willing, I will answer your questions at the national team's press conference. It happened in Gabala last week as well, coaches are complaining that Ayxan Abbasov’s press conference is too long and talks about the national team. Let's respect this. I will answer your important questions."
