The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received a report on the emergency hotline "112" about a citizen in distress at the address of 216 Badamdar Highway, Sabail district, the capital.
This was reported to Medianews.az from the MES.
Upon receiving the information, rescuers from the MES Special Risk Rescue Service were immediately dispatched to the scene.
While assessing the operational situation at the incident site, it was found that the citizen - Mammadov Mahammad Merdan oglu, born in 1960 - had fallen into a structure intended as a reservoir with a depth of 3.5 meters and was left helpless with various injuries.
Rescuers saved the citizen using mountaineering equipment and handed him over to the emergency medical team.
