The State Statistics Committee reported the average monthly nominal wage of salaried employees as 1093.8 manats as of September 1, 2025.
Medianews.az states that in these economic activity types, the average salary exceeded that amount: mining industry – 3689.6 manats, financial and insurance activities – 2973.2 manats, information and communication – 1889.7 manats, professional, scientific and technical activities – 1830.9 manats, transportation and warehousing – 1538.4 manats, public administration and defense; social security – 1477.2 manats, real estate operations – 1231.3 manats, construction – 1160.8 manats, electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply – 1103.5 manats.
According to the official report, the average wage in the oil and gas sector was 3849.8 manats, in the non-oil/gas sector 1042.6 manats, in state enterprises 1063.6 manats, and in private enterprises 1123.8 manats.
The minimum monthly wage in the country is 400 manats.
