In the coming days to Baku Will it snow?

Despite it being April, snow is falling in several regions of Azerbaijan. At the same time, heavy rain is observed in Baku.

Medianews.az reports that ecologist scientist Telman Zeynalov, speaking to Globalinfo.az, stated that it will not snow in Baku in the coming days.

"The Earth changes its axis by 8 centimeters. This means that climate zones gradually shift their locations. As a result, summer months extend into September-October, and winter lengthens somewhat. That is, temperature changes occur over about a month. Therefore, the climate is always this variable."

The ecologist also added that recently glaciers in the northern region are melting:

"The temperature rises there, but in some areas the air cools down. Changes in the climate lead to cooling of the air. In such a situation, it is possible for snow to continue until approximately the end of April:

But it might not snow, because the climate changes direction. In May, the weather is expected to be cool."
