According to the information provided by the National Hydrometeorology Service to Medianews.az, based on the data as of 10:00 on April 24, the weather conditions across the country have been mostly rainless, although precipitation occurred in some regions during the night and morning, and wet snow fell in the high mountainous areas (Kalbajar, Lachin).
The amount of precipitation recorded is 3 mm in Guba, and 1 mm in Ganja, Naftalan, Qusar, Balakan, Shabran, Khachmaz, Zaqatala, Shaki, Tartar, Yevlakh, Sabirabad, Gubadli, Shusha, Khankendi, Khojaly, and Fuzuli.
Fog is observed in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as in Ganja, Goranboy, Naftalan, Shamkir, Balakan, Gobustan, Shamakhi, Khizi, Zaqatala, Shaki, Gabala, Oghuz, Qusar, Guba, and Goychay, limiting visibility to up to 500 meters.
In some places, the northwest wind occasionally intensifies. The maximum wind speed reaches 25 m/s in Kalbajar, 21 m/s in Agstafa, 20 m/s in Tovuz and Khinalig, 19 m/s in Goranboy, 18 m/s in Zangilan, Naftalan, and Dashkasan, and up to 16 m/s in Lerik and Gadabay.
