Last night, Russia launched the heaviest air strikes on Ukraine's capital Kyiv throughout the war.
For the first time, Russia struck Kyiv with the "Oreshnik" ballistic missile. Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that as a result of the enemy's massive attack on the capital, damage was recorded in all districts of the city.

In the Obolonskyi district, a UAV hit a private single-story residential building. The UAV also struck a three-story residential building and caused a fire in an open area. In the same district, the UAV impact caused a fire in a 16-story residential building and an open area where fire spread to another residential building.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, two residential buildings and one office building were damaged by falling rocket debris, and cars at the bus stop caught fire. Additionally, fires broke out in the areas of two schools due to falling debris. A gas pipeline fire between residential buildings was also extinguished.
In the Dniprovskyi district, debris fell on the roof of a residential building. A drone strike on a private house also caused a fire. A warehouse and a garage cooperative were also damaged.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, rocket debris fell on a single-story private house.
In the Podolskyi district, debris fell on a non-residential area.
In the Holosiivskyi district, rocket debris fell on the roof of a 24-story residential building.
In the Desnianskyi district, drone debris hit a supermarket and shopping center.
In the Solomianskyi district, a drone hit the 23rd floor of a 24-story residential building, causing fire damage to structures.
In the Pecherskyi district, a drone hit a 20-story residential building and caused a fire.
All emergency services are working on-site to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
