The Azerbaijan State Agency for Motor Roads (AAYDA) is taking necessary measures to ensure safe and uninterrupted traffic on the roads due to snowy and frosty weather conditions observed throughout the country.
Medianews.az, citing the agency, reports that snow removal operations from the traffic lanes continue on the Qakh-Zaqatala, Sheki-Qakh, Qakh-Ilisu roads, as well as on the entrance road to the city of Qakh.
In addition, snow removal work is being carried out on the Gabala-Laza road.
On the Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh road, as well as on local roads within the area, icing has been recorded on the bridges. Measures against icing on the bridges are being implemented by the agency, ensuring the safety and uninterrupted flow of traffic.
On the Quba-Qusar and Qusar-Shahdag roads, snow removal from the traffic lanes and anti-icing measures continue. Safety and uninterrupted traffic have been ensured on these mentioned roads.
