The US plans to increase the number of troops in its army by 2027.
Medianews.az, citing "Report," reports that this was stated by Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth.
"When we increase the size of the army next year, it will be even bigger," he said.
The Pentagon chief added that the US army has reached the recruitment targets planned for 2026, and the current number of soldiers is 1.8 million.
