A person fired for theft BURNED THE STORE

In Baku, a dismissed driver set fire to the store where he worked.

Medianews.az reports that the incident took place at the auto spare parts store located on Khanlar Street in the Turkan settlement of the Khazar district of the capital.

Oruc Valiyev (name is fictitious), a resident of Baku, worked as a driver at that store. After working there for about three years, he secretly sold diesel fuel stored at the facility without the store owner’s knowledge. Upon learning this, the store owner fired Oruc Valiyev.

After being dismissed, Oruc Valiyev started working elsewhere and decided to take revenge on his former manager. Late at night, he came to the store and stole 520 manats in coins, 201 manats in banknotes, and 100 US dollars from the cash register.

Then he poured gasoline kept for sale at the facility onto the store’s electricity meter and set it on fire. As a result, the store, along with the auto spare parts inside, was completely burned.

Police officers were called to the scene and an investigation was launched. As a result of operational-search measures, it was determined that the fire was set by Oruc Valiyev and he was detained.

A criminal case was opened regarding the incident and sent to court. By the court’s verdict, Oruc Valiyev was sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment. (oxu.az)
