A criminal case has been sent to court against the accountant who showed violence against Shahriyar Lachinov, the former director of the Socio-Economic College operating under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
Medianews.az, citing Telegraf, reports that a criminal case has been initiated against the accountant Turab Shabanov under Article 128 of the Criminal Code (intentional infliction of minor bodily harm), and the case has been sent to the Sabunchu District Court.
According to the investigation materials, tension arose between the parties against the background of new management decisions being made at the college. Turab Shabanov disagreed with the new director's decisions, and disputes occurred between them repeatedly.
The last dispute took place in the college's admission office in March of this year. During the dispute, the accountant Turab Shabanov struck the director in the face with a fist, and Shahriyar Lachinov was injured.
Shortly after the incident, Shahriyar Lachinov was relieved of his duties as director.
