Weddings in Azerbaijan are considered one of the biggest sources of income for show business representatives. Especially gatherings featuring famous singers attract attention with both their grandeur and high fees. In recent years, discussions about artists' wedding fees have increased significantly. In many cases, the amount demanded for a half-hour performance exceeds the monthly income of an ordinary citizen several times.
So, how much do Azerbaijan's famous singers charge to participate in a wedding event? What is the difference between the price for a half-hour program and the whole wedding? Who are the most expensive artists and why do the amounts they demand vary?
"Yenisabah.az" reports that it conducted research on the amounts Azerbaijan's show business representatives charge for weddings.
We present the results of the research:
1. People's Artist Faiq Agayev performs only for half an hour at weddings. He does not attend entire or one-hour wedding events. The price for the artist's half-hour performance at a wedding is 10,000 manats.
2. Günay İbrahimli demands 6,000 manats for a half-hour participation at weddings. Managing the entire wedding, including sound system, ensemble, and vocalist, costs 15,000 manats.
3. Murad Arif demands 4,000 manats for a half-hour performance. The price for the whole wedding is 14,000 manats.
4. Khayyam Nisanov demands 5,000 manats for half an hour at weddings held in Baku. The price for the entire wedding is 15,000 manats.
5. Honored Artist Abbas Bagirov demands 6,000 manats for a half-hour performance at wedding events and 18,000 manats to manage the entire wedding.
7. Singer Manaf Agayev demands 3,500 manats for performing at the entire wedding event. He attends the gathering with his own ensemble and brings a female singer.
8. People's Artist Tünzalə Agayeva performs for half an hour and 45 minutes at wedding events. She demands 6,500 manats for half an hour and 10,000 manats for a 45-minute performance.
9. Honored Artist Manana Caparidze demands 5,000 manats for a half-hour performance in wedding events in Baku and 7,000 manats for a one-hour performance. The artist does not participate in entire wedding events.
10. Xatirə İslam demands 5,000 manats for a half-hour performance, 12,000 manats with an ensemble and 8,000 manats without an ensemble for the entire wedding event.
11. Kəmalə Güneşli earns 2,000 manats for a one-hour event, 5,000 manats with an ensemble and 3,500 manats without an ensemble for the entire wedding.
12. Xuraman Shushali demands 1,500 manats for a half-hour performance, 2,000 manats for one hour, and 4,000 manats for the whole event at wedding gatherings. If she performs at the whole event together with musicians, the price is 6,000 manats.
13. People's Artist Brilyant Dadashova earns 8,000 manats from a half-hour performance and 15,000 manats to manage the entire wedding.
14. People's Artist Zulfiyya Khanbabayeva participates only for half an hour at wedding events. The artist demands 7,000 manats for this performance.
15. People's Artist Eyyub Yaqubov also does not participate in entire wedding events. He earns 4,000 manats for a half-hour performance.
16. Jamila Bayramova, known by the nickname Elit Star, performs only for half an hour at gatherings. She receives 500 manats for this performance.
17. Honored Artist Könül Karimova demands 3,000 manats for a half-hour performance, 4,000 manats for one hour, and 10,000 manats for full participation at the wedding event.
18. Honored Artist Elnarə Abdullayeva earns 4,000 manats for a half-hour performance, 7,000 manats for solo management of the wedding, and 12,000 manats for performing with an ensemble.
