Former head coach and defender of the Norwegian national team, Åge Hareide, has passed away at the age of 72.
Milli.Az reports that the information was confirmed to the Norwegian media by his family on Thursday evening.
It is noted that in November, the experienced specialist who had worked in Norway and Denmark was diagnosed with brain cancer.
It should be noted that Hareide was the head coach of the Denmark national team from 2016 to 2020 and led the team to the Round of 16 at the 2018 World Cup. He also worked with the Norwegian national team from 2003 to 2008.
