The teacher shot at the "İdrak" Lyceum FIRED FROM JOB

New information has been released regarding the armed incident that occurred some time ago at “Idrak” Lyceum.

Medianews.az reports that according to information provided to Modern.az, the teacher who was injured during the incident, Shahla Kamilova, has resigned from her job.

Additionally, it is reported that there are family friendship relations between the family of the 10th-grade student Ali Shirinov, who committed the incident, and Idris Alishov, the son of the head of “Idrak” Lyceum Mönsüm Alışov, as well as the lyceum director Natavan Alışova.

According to claims, after the investigation is concluded, the family plans to send the student to London in order for him to continue his education.

It should be noted that another recently circulated piece of information stated that the teacher forgave the student who caused the incident. An official document confirming the reconciliation has been submitted to the investigation authorities. For this reason, it is expected that the student will be released.

Recall that the incident took place on February 6. Ali Shirinov, a 10th-grade student at “Idrak” Lyceum, came to school with a hunting rifle belonging to his father and fired at teacher Shahla Kamilova. The teacher, who was shot, was hospitalized in critical condition. Doctors removed 16 shotgun pellets from the teacher’s neck area.
The student who committed the incident was detained, and a four-month pretrial detention was selected for him.
A criminal case was opened at the Binagadi District Prosecutor’s Office under the relevant article of the Criminal Code regarding the fact.
