The South Korean Armed Forces have started to induct powerful "Hyunmu-5" ballistic missiles, designated as "predators" due to their size and destructive power, intended for the destruction of bunkers by the end of 2025.
Oxu.Az reports that this information was released by the "Yonhap" agency citing military sources.
The warhead weight of the "land-to-land" type missile reaches 8 tons. The full delivery of "Hyunmu-5" missiles to the troops should be completed by 2030.
"Hyunmu-5" was first publicly presented at the parade held on the occasion of South Korean Armed Forces Day in 2023, but most of its tactical and technical characteristics remain classified.
