Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva criticized the United States President Donald Trump's "Peace Council."

According to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, instead of implementing reforms at the UN, Trump is trying to create an alternative model.
"What is happening? President Trump is proposing to create a new United Nations where he will be the sole leader," Lula da Silva stated.
According to him, this destroys the UN Charter.
The Brazilian leader recalled that his country has been calling for reforms at the UN since 2003 and considers it necessary for Latin American and African countries to become permanent members of the UN Security Council.
