On May 15-16, in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, and on May 15-18 in some regions, yellow and orange warnings have been issued regarding expected windy weather conditions.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, Gazakh, Agstafa, Tovuz, Shamkir, Ganja, Dashkasan, Gadabay, Goygol, Samukh, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Balakan, Zaqatala, Gakh, Shaki, Oguz, Gabala, Ismayilli, Goychay, Shamakhi, Gobustan, Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Neftchala, Salyan, Lerik, Yardimli, Kalbajar, Lachin, Fuzuli, Zangilan, according to the yellow warning, a northwest wind will blow, with wind speed ranging from 13.9 to 20.7 m/s.
In Barda, Tartar, Naftalan, and Goranboy, according to the orange warning, a northwest wind will blow, with wind speed strengthening up to 20.8-28.4 m/s.
