According to the report of the State Statistics Committee, in 2025, Azerbaijan produced a total gross domestic product (GDP) of 129.1 billion manats, which is 1.4 percent more compared to the previous year. A 1.6 percent decrease was recorded in the oil and gas sector of the economy, while a 2.7 percent growth was noted in the non-oil/gas sector.
GDP per capita is shown as 12,602.2 manats.
Medianews.az reports that in 1996, the GDP in the country increased by 1.3 percent, in 1997 by 5.8 percent, in 1998 by 10 percent, in 1999 by 7.4 percent, in 2000 by 11.1 percent, in 2001 by 9.9 percent, in 2002 by 10.6 percent, in 2003 by 11.2 percent, in 2004 by 10.2 percent, in 2005 by 26.4 percent, in 2006 by 34.5 percent, in 2007 by 25 percent, in 2008 by 10.8 percent, in 2009 by 9.3 percent, and in 2010 by 5 percent.
In 2011, it increased by 0.1 percent, in 2012 by 2.2 percent, in 2013 by 5.8 percent, in 2014 by 2.8 percent, in 2015 by 1.1 percent, in 2017 by 0.2 percent, in 2018 by 1.5 percent, in 2019 by 2.5 percent, in 2021 by 5.6 percent, in 2022 by 4.6 percent, in 2023 by 1.1 percent, and in 2024 by 4.1 percent.
A decrease of 11.8 percent was recorded in 1995, 3.1 percent in 2016, and 4.2 percent in 2020.
