In the latest official report, the average monthly nominal salary of Azerbaijan's wage workers was shown to be 1089.2 manat.
According to Medianews.az, the State Statistics Committee listed the types of economic activities as of December 1, 2025, as follows:
mining industry - average salary 3678.4 manat
financial and insurance activities - 2859.9 manat
information and communication - 1865.6 manat
professional activities, scientific and technical activities - 1798.5 manat
transport and warehousing - 1528.5 manat
public administration and defense; social security - 1475.6 manat
real estate operations - 1183.7 manat
construction - 1165.9 manat
electricity, gas and steam production, distribution, and supply - 1134 manat
manufacturing industry - 992.4 manat
health services and social care provided to the population - 937.1 manat
activities in the field of recreation, entertainment, and arts - 871.5 manat
education - 805 manat
accommodation and food service activities for tourists - 782.5 manat
water supply, waste management and remediation - 752.1 manat
trade; vehicle repair - 741.8 manat
administrative and support service activities - 727.2 manat
agriculture, forestry and fishing - 688.3 manat
provision of services in other fields - 1275.8 manat.
The minimum monthly wage in the country is 400 manat.
From January to November 2025, the average monthly nominal salary of wage workers increased by 9.3 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
Pensions in Azerbaijan are indexed every year on January 1 according to the annual growth rate of the average monthly salary. The increase rate for 2026 will be announced in February.
