Medianews.az has reviewed the official tourism statistics of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
In January-November 2025, Armenia was visited by 2,123,709 foreign nationals. The Tourism Committee, which published the report, states that 41 percent of the visitors were from Russia, 13 percent from Georgia, 8 percent from Iran, 3 percent from the USA, 2 percent from China, and the rest from other countries.
According to the State Border Service of Azerbaijan, from January to October, 2,171,600 foreigners entered the country, of whom 24.4 percent were from Russia, 17.4 percent from Turkey, 8 percent from Iran, 6.6 percent from India, 4.3 percent from Saudi Arabia, 4.2 percent from Georgia, 4 percent from Kazakhstan, 3.4 percent from Pakistan, 2.6 percent from China, 2.4 percent from Israel, 2.3 percent from Uzbekistan, 1.6 percent from the United Arab Emirates, 1.4 percent from Ukraine, 1.2 percent from Turkmenistan, and the remainder from other countries.
