A heavy loss has occurred to Azerbaijani science.
ERAmedia reports that the renowned scientist, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, professor, corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Mustafa Səttar oğlu Salahov passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 95.
Mustafa Salahov worked for many years as the head of the laboratory at the Polymer Materials Institute of ANAS, was awarded the title of Honored Inventor of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and was decorated with the Order of Glory.
