The first hotel in Ayda will open at this time.

The selection process for candidates for the first interplanetary trip with accommodation at a hotel on the Moon has begun.

By 2032, the first hotel will appear on the surface of the Moon. You can already become a part of history by booking a room, but the price of space tourism is astonishing.

This was reported by GRU Space, a private space project that presents itself as the world’s first developer and operator of lunar real estate.

The company's announcement states that those interested can apply to be among the first to book a place in the world’s first hotel on the Moon. This is a chance to join a new interplanetary chapter in human history.

This is not just typical space tourism. So far, only 12 people have set foot on the Moon, and participating in this initial phase means being part of the foundation of life beyond Earth.

If selected, travelers will be asked to sign a deposit agreement and make an initial payment of either $250,000 or $1 million depending on the chosen option. The deposit can be fully refunded at any time after the first 30 days. This amount will be applied to the final booking price once the hotel is ready to welcome guests.

The final price has not yet been determined, but it is expected to exceed $10 million. To confirm your right to travel and secure your reservation, you may be required to provide additional personal, medical, and financial information and documents.

The company promises to assist you at every step.

The application fee alone is $1,000 and is non-refundable.

By the way, NASA administrator Jared Isaacman has confirmed the ambitious plan to return to the Moon during US President Donald Trump’s second term. The agency's priority is to create space data centers and develop a satellite to extract helium-3, a strategic fuel for future nuclear fusion.

The project envisions the rapid launch of Artemis II and Artemis III missions, the construction of nuclear reactors at a lunar base by 2030, and the deployment of heavy rockets from SpaceX and Blue Origin for regular and affordable flights. (lent.az)
