Medianews.az reports that the competition to be hosted by Austria's capital Vienna will hold its first semi-final on May 12, the second semi-final on the 14th, and the final on the 16th.

On October 7, 2023, there was a military intervention from Palestine's Gaza region into Israeli territories, followed by a major war that led to the complete destruction of most of Gaza. Part of the international community claims that Palestinians have been subjected to genocide.

The peace agreement reached on October 13, 2025 provides for the cessation of the war in Gaza.
