Especially, the constant pressure on celebrities to look more ideal can lead them to risky methods. Drugs used for rapid weight loss, very strict diets, and uncontrolled food regimens can severely weaken the body. The social media trend of "slimming down in a short time" increases this danger even more and drives people to wrong choices. Sometimes, in order to lose a few kilos, the cardiovascular system, kidneys, and hormonal balance suffer heavy damage. Magen stomach reduction surgeries and bariatric surgery can also cause severe complications when not properly applied or when post-operative rules are not followed. Lisa Marie Presley (USA): After undergoing obesity surgery (bariatric gastric reduction) a few years later, adhesions formed in the abdominal organs caused blockage in the small intestine and she passed away as a result. Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace (United Kingdom): The reality show star said that after receiving an Ozempic injection purchased from the black market, she experienced severe vomiting, diarrhea, and even vision problems within 3 days and stated she "almost died." This shows the dangers of using GLP-1 type drugs without proper medical supervision.

Metin Arolat (Turkey): He died suddenly at the age of 52 in 2024 due to a heart attack on stage. His death was linked to serious low-calorie diets called "shock diet." Cardiologist Prof. Dr. Özlem Esen states that such sudden and very low-calorie diets can thicken the blood and cause inflammation, which in turn may increase the risk of heart attack.

Seren Serengil (Turkey): In 2021, she underwent a gastric reduction surgery to lose weight. The subsequent "dumping syndrome" reduced her weight to 43.5 kg and her organs were nearly on the verge of failure. This critical condition was resolved with emergency surgery, and Serengil survived.

Fatih Ürek (Turkey): In 2025, after sudden heart failure, he remained in intensive care for a long time. The media reported that he was using Ozempic and other GLP-1 injections to lose weight. Such rapid weight loss can disrupt the body's water-electrolyte balance and seriously affect heart function.

Luana Andrade (Brazil): The 29-year-old reality show star suffered severe pulmonary embolism due to acute thrombosis during a liposuction operation in Sao Paulo. Despite all the doctors' efforts, this severe complication caused her death the next day. The incident highlights the high risk of plastic surgery procedures.
