During the White House Correspondents’ Dinner held in Washington, an armed person attempted to carry out an attack.
Medianews.az reports that the attacker tried to get past the security barrier and opened fire.
US President Donald Trump and other high-ranking officials were immediately evacuated. Fortunately, the president and the main officials were not injured.
The attacker has been detained, and the investigation is ongoing.
