According to the report of the State Border Service, from January to November 2025, 2 million 364 thousand foreigners from 189 countries came to Azerbaijan.
Medianews.az reports that 24.2 percent of them are from Russia, 17.6 percent from Turkey, 8.1 percent from Iran, 6.4 percent from India, 4.3 percent from Georgia, 4.2 percent from Saudi Arabia, 4.1 percent from Kazakhstan, 3.5 percent from Pakistan, 2.6 percent from China, 2.5 percent from Israel, 2.4 percent from Uzbekistan, 1.6 percent from the United Arab Emirates, 1.5 percent from Ukraine, 1.3 percent from Turkmenistan, and the rest are recorded as citizens of other countries.
The number of Azerbaijani citizens who went abroad in 11 months is reported as 1 million 947. It is stated that 41.6 percent of them went to Turkey, 14.4 percent to Russia, 10.8 percent to Georgia, 9.5 percent to Iran, and the rest headed to other countries.
