A woman revealed that she lost weight from 71 kilograms to 64 kilograms in just a few months thanks to a small change she made only in her breakfast. She did not change either her diet or exercise routine.
Naml.MA reports that the woman, who shared on social media, emphasized that big changes are not always necessary to lose weight. In her video shared on TikTok, she explained the simple breakfast habit that helped her lose 6 kilograms in four months as follows:
"Thanks to this breakfast, I went down from 71 kilograms to 64 kilograms. It takes only 5 minutes to prepare and contains 42 grams of protein."
The woman stated that a high-protein breakfast keeps her full throughout the day and reduces her desire to snack. According to her: "Consuming 40-60 grams of protein in the morning makes it much easier to reach the protein target during the day."
The breakfast menu shared by the woman is as follows:
2 pieces of Weetabix,
150 ml of semi-skimmed or full-fat milk,
150 grams of fat-free yogurt (0% fat),
Approximately 30 grams of vanilla protein powder,
Topping with 60 grams of fresh strawberries or raspberries,
15 grams of melted Nutella.
She stated that this practical recipe satisfies her sweet cravings and also creates a long-lasting feeling of fullness:
"My breakfast has now become the most enjoyable part of the day," the woman noted.
The woman’s video quickly went viral, and many viewers wrote comments on the post:
"I use the protein version of Weetabix and add honey and Brazil nuts on top."
"I prepared it without milk, it was like granola. I added pure honey and flax seeds on top."
Some users suggested additions such as flax seeds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, chia, goji berries, and walnuts to make the breakfast healthier.
The UK’s National Health Service (NHS) also emphasized the importance of breakfast and issued this statement:
"Breakfast replenishes the body’s energy stores after 10-12 hours of fasting overnight. The brain and muscles need fuel. A healthy breakfast keeps a person full until noon and helps avoid unhealthy snacks such as chips and chocolate during the morning hours."
