25-year-old Adem Kulak's ring finger was severed as a result of a motorcycle accident. His finger was reattached using microsurgical methods thanks to timely intervention by doctors.

Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred in the Bahçelievler district of Istanbul.

The accident happened due to the sudden opening of a car door that was not properly parked. As a result of the impact, the young man who fell to the ground had his ring finger severed. The injured was taken to the hospital by emergency medical service and immediately underwent surgery.

Hand surgeon Kadir Uzel, who performed the surgery, stated that the first 6 hours are crucial for severed limbs: "The patient came to us on time. The finger was reattached using microsurgical methods. Currently, the blood circulation is normal."

According to the doctor, the fact that the patient was brought to the hospital within two hours after the accident played an important role in the successful completion of the surgery. It is reported that Adem Kulak's condition is stable and the recovery process is progressing positively.
