Ali Asadov signed the order

Relevant measures have been determined to ensure the implementation of the Law No. 337-VIIQD dated December 30, 2025, on the amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On State Duty".

Medianews.az reports that the Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree regarding this matter.

According to the decree, the Ministry of Justice has been instructed to submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers within five months concerning the alignment of the normative legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers with the aforementioned law, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs, and other relevant state bodies.

Additionally, central executive authorities must take norm-setting measures within their authority to ensure the implementation of the law within four months, and submit information to the Ministry of Justice about their normative legal acts or the absence of proposals in this regard. If necessary, reports on the implementation status will be presented to the Cabinet of Ministers.

The decree also states that the Ministry of Justice must ensure the harmonization of normative legal and normative character acts of central executive authorities with the law and must report to the Cabinet of Ministers within six months.

Supervision of the implementation of the decree has been assigned to the Legal and Legislative Department of the Apparatus of the Cabinet of Ministers.

It should be noted that the decree came into force on the day it was signed.
