Israel is developing space laser systems to strike platforms located above the Earth's surface.
This was stated by Israel's Defense Minister Israel Katz.
He said that currently the country's best specialists are being involved to work in this direction:
"Israel aims to become a leading country in the world in this field. If we achieve this, it will give us superiority in deterrence, attack, and target destruction capabilities compared to our enemies with greater resources, as well as in all other areas."
