In 2025, a 3.3 percent price increase was recorded in the consumer market of Armenia.
Medianews.az reports that, according to the Statistics Committee's report, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products increased by 6 percent, food and non-alcoholic beverages by 5 percent, and communal services by 0.7 percent in value.
Price increases in the education sector were 8 percent, in transportation 4.8 percent, in the healthcare sector 3.4 percent, in public catering and hotel services 2 percent, in recreation and cultural services 1.5 percent, and in communications 0.1 percent.
According to official data, compared to 2024, clothing and footwear became 1.5 percent cheaper.
