The dates for the foreign language subject admission and philosophy doctorate exams at the doctoral and dissertation levels have been determined.
Medianews.az reports that the State Examination Center (SEC) has issued information regarding this matter.
It has been stated that candidates wishing to be admitted to the doctorate and claimants studying in the doctorate must register for the foreign language exam, as well as for the Azerbaijani language exam for foreigners, via the Center’s website from June 11 to 14.
According to the exam schedule, the philosophy doctorate exam for Azerbaijani language for foreigners and stateless claimants will be held on June 16 for all blocks.
The speaking block exam for candidates wishing to be admitted to the doctorate and claimants studying in the doctorate will be held from June 17 to 19. Evaluation in the speaking block is conducted orally through a computer program.
On June 25, the listening-comprehension, reading-comprehension, language use (lexical-grammatical tasks), and writing blocks of the exam will be conducted.
In the foreign language admission exam, candidates who have passed (achieved a passing score of 25 points) considering the respective score limit (2 points) per block are admitted to the philosophy exam, followed by the specialty subject exam. Candidates who score 30 points or more in the admission exam are exempted from the foreign language philosophy doctorate exam if they submit their dissertations for preliminary discussion within five years from the date of that exam.
