According to the report of the State Statistics Committee, in the period from January to August 2025, 22.2 billion manat worth of food products, beverages, and tobacco products, and 18.2 billion manat worth of non-food goods were sold in Azerbaijan's retail trade network.
Medianews.az reports that 50.7 percent of the expenses on goods purchased in the retail trade network were for food products, and 4.3 percent were for beverages and tobacco products.
According to another report, between January and July, Azerbaijan's legal and physical persons conducted trade operations with partners in 169 countries, exported to 111 countries, and imports were formalized from 162 countries.
It is reported that compared to the same period in 2024, imports increased by 1.2 percent in real terms, while exports decreased by 9.6 percent.
