The Ukraine war has spread to Venezuela - Vietnam scenario for the USA

Venezuela is one of the richest countries in the world, having oil, gas, and gold. There is no doubt that wealth should make a country strong, but it does not happen. Because such wealth constantly attracts the attention of foreign powers. Hugo Chavez, who came to power, and then Nicolas Maduro nationalized these resources, meaning they took them from American companies and placed them under state control. With this, the country turned its path towards socialism. A proper Che Guevara-like movement began on the political scene, and people undoubtedly drew the most inspiration from the Cuban revolution.

Chavez even introduced an idea called "Bolivarianism." According to this idea, it was about the union of Latin American countries, realizing Simon Bolivar's dream of freedom, and Venezuela's fight against American imperialism. But now, in every sense of the word, the country stands as the "last stronghold" against the US in Latin America. Maduro continues this policy. His party is socialist-oriented, which immediately brings to mind two major brothers – China and Russia. Because the main supporters of Caracas are these two global powers.

All of this, of course, is not pleasing to the US.

These days, Trump ironically referred to the US Department of Defense as the "Ministry of War." It is sending military ships filled with soldiers to the coasts of Venezuela under the pretext of "combating drug trafficking." Then the US military prosecutor promised a $50 million reward for Maduro's "head."

The situation has escalated to the point that Washington requested US citizens to leave the country immediately. It is clear how tense the situation is.

At the same time, consultations between Venezuela and Russia have intensified. It seems the great powers are playing their games over this small country. But why?

Against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine, China and Russia have decided to prepare a second Vietnam for the US in Venezuela. Because both China and Russia want confrontation in the region. If that happens, the US will not be able to wage war in Ukraine.

The US, meanwhile, has its eyes on Venezuela’s oil, gas, and gold.

Meanwhile, Maduro has trained 4.5 million civilian militia forces to enter the fight against US attacks.

Now, what is interesting?

More than 80 percent of the narcotic products used in the US are produced in Colombia.

Let us recall that from 1963 to 1973 in Vietnam, the US lost 60,000 soldiers in the war.
