The Ministry of Finance has announced the preliminary indicators of next year's state budget.
Medianews.az reports that in 2026, revenues of 38 billion 423 million manats, expenditures of 41 billion 548.6 million manats, and a deficit of 3 billion 125.6 million manats are projected.
The Ministry has listed the expenditure directions as follows:
defense and national security – 8 billion 714.8 million manats;
economic activity – 7 billion 630.7 million manats;
general government services – 5 billion 776.5 million manats;
education – 4 billion 985.8 million manats;
social protection and social security – 4 billion 873 million manats;
judiciary, law enforcement, and prosecution – 3 billion 553.6 million manats;
healthcare – 2 billion 52.4 million manats;
agriculture – 1 billion 92.1 million manats;
culture, art, information, physical education, youth policy, and other similar activities – 568.6 million manats;
environmental protection – 357.2 million manats;
housing and communal services – 298.2 million manats;
services not allocated to main sections – 1 billion 645.7 million manats.
