A meeting will be held on September 25 in Washington between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his US counterpart Donald Trump.
"Report" reports that the Turkish leader spoke about this at a press conference held at Atatürk Airport before departing for the United States.
He noted that regional issues will be prioritized in his meeting with Trump.
"We leaders bear great responsibility in reducing conflict and tension in our region," Erdoğan said.
He also emphasized that he will hold meetings with several heads of states, governments, and businessmen in New York.
