"Talking about your troubles - 12 manat, family problems - 25 manat, love problems - 21 manat, getting advice - 26 manat".
Such an interesting announcement has been placed in one of the taxis operating in the capital. One of the notable points is the note that the price will be doubled for those who address as a friend, acquaintance, or relative.
This information was provided in a video report by Baku TV.
Residents of the capital expressed various opinions on the matter.
"I would not talk about my troubles in a taxi. But when a person faces difficult and busy times, maybe someone might make such a choice. I do not blame those people either," said one resident.
Another resident noted:
"I listen to the troubles of taxi drivers. But there are people who sit and look for someone to talk about their problems. In my opinion, recently many people prefer talking rather than listening. Therefore, they cannot find someone to listen. The taxi driver listens because he is forced to get paid."
It is interesting, do people have that much need to talk and be listened to? Do they not have close ones they can trust to share their troubles with that they tell strangers? Apparently, the issue has reached such an extent that the other side has turned it into a paid service.
Psychologist Ilaha Dadashova explained the matter as follows:
"Talking is expressed by a scientific term called 'catharsis' in psychology. That is, as a person talks, they feel mentally relieved. There are people who come to psychological sessions just to talk." /BAKU.WS
