Medianews.az reports that the news of the artist's death was shared by music producer Hakan Eren. He wrote on social media, "The bad news we received this morning… We lost our sister Tülay Özer."
Tülay Özer was known for songs such as "Büklüm Büklüm," "İkimiz Bir Fidanız," and "Kalbime Sana Vermiştim," and contributed to Turkish music in the 1970s and 1980s.
