Teenagers and children are most often induced to commit crimes on "Telegram".
Publika.az reports that this was stated by TASS. The publication refers to materials published by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. It was noted that teenagers fall into traps when using closed channels with vacancies and bots. They are "recruited" and as a result, involved in criminal activities.
"In particular, the 'Telegram' messenger is the main platform for the recruitment of minors," the article states.
Experts from the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that anonymous chats, anonymous groups discussing "earnings" and easy money, including closed channels, are actively used as a tool for crime.
Additionally, the Ministry's materials say that recruiting bots are also automated bots that send "job offers".
Experts also reported, among other things, that scammers start communicating with teenagers using social networks like "VKontakte" and "Odnoklassniki", as well as darknet forums, game chats, and voice servers such as Discord.
