The US will test nuclear weapons for the first time in 33 years.
APA reports, citing US media, that President Donald Trump wrote about this on his "Truth Social" account.
"Other countries are conducting test programs. I have instructed the Department of Defense to begin testing our nuclear weapons on an equal footing.
This process will begin immediately. We have the most nuclear weapons in the world. Russia is second, China is third. But it (China) will catch up to us within 5 years," Trump noted.
