The State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan - SOCAR is preparing to drill a gas well with a depth of more than 7 kilometers.
This was stated to Medianews.az by Ilham Shaban, head of the Oil Research Center.
He said that the planned depth of the gas well is expected to be 7067 meters.
According to Ilham Shaban, SOCAR is planning to drill a gas well at this depth for the first time in its 33-year history.
