An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 was recorded on the east coast of Kamchatka.
"Qafqazinfo" reports that this information was released by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
According to the Center, the epicenter of the underground tremors was located 125 kilometers northeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The earthquake's focus was at a depth of 40 kilometers.
There is currently no information about casualties or damage.
The governor of Kamchatka, Vladimir Solodov, wrote on his Telegram channel that after the earthquake, all services were brought to a high state of readiness. A tsunami warning has been issued for the eastern coasts of the peninsula.
