In January-August 2025, 20,437 children were born in Armenia, and 17,210 people died.
Medianews.az reports that the report was published by the Statistical Committee of Armenia.
The report states that compared to the same period of 2024, there is a 6.3 percent decrease in births and a 0.8 percent increase in deaths.
It is emphasized that in eight months, 8,985 marriages were registered and 3,179 divorces were formalized in Armenia, noting that compared to January-August 2024, marriages decreased by 13.6 percent, and divorces increased by 4.5 percent.
