According to the official report, 20.7 million tons of oil along with condensate were extracted in Azerbaijan from January to September 2025.
Medianews.az reports that production was 44.5 million tons in 2008, 50.4 million tons in 2009, 50.8 million tons in 2010, 45.6 million tons in 2011, 43.4 million tons in 2012, 43.5 million tons in 2013, 42 million tons in 2014, 41.6 million tons in 2015, 41 million tons in 2016, 38.7 million tons in 2017, 38.8 million tons in 2018, 37.4 million tons in 2019, 34.5 million tons in 2020, 34.6 million tons in 2021, 32.6 million tons in 2022, 30.2 million tons in 2023, and 29.1 million tons in 2024.
In the 2025 state budget, the price of one barrel of oil was set at 70 dollars. "Azeri Light" started January at 79, February at 78.52, March at 75.68, April at 78.29, May at 65.13, June at 68.82, July at 72.01, August at 72.70, September at 70.54, and October at 69.86 dollars.
The international coalition of exporters has set the daily crude oil production quota for Azerbaijan at 551 thousand barrels.
